1926 S. Mason Road, Town and Country
Shingle Style architecture is pure Americana. With over 100yrs of influence and prominence in places like Nantucket, Newport, Hamptons and Maine. Period Restoration took this endeavor very seriously when conceptualizing our Shingle Style residence in Town and Country. Over a year and half was spent from conception to creating this very one of a kind residence.
Real Shingle Style authenticity was our main focus. Carefully choosing the proper materials were of the utmost importance. Chilton Country Squire stone makes up two distinct fireplaces and the overall foundation. The main body of the house is wrapped in western red cedar shake. Hand split cedar was selected for the roof to enhance the complex roof lines such as gambrel, shed dormers and multiple swoop gables.
Inside you will find a generous, well thought out floor plan. From a first floor master to the private mother-in-law quarters. There are over 80 Anderson E series windows and doors to allow a beautiful indoor outdoor living experience. The home is composed of exquisite trim work carefully placed for proper scale and design. All custom fine furniture quality inset cabinetry throughout. Only the finest finishes and appointments have been selected.
